Antietam Lake Park

Antietam Lake is surrounded by 665 acres of park land and provides a beautiful, serene setting for nature-based recreation. The origins of Antietam Lake date back to 1865 when Reading purchased a dam and gristmill on Antietam Creek, with a waterfall now flowing over the 60-foot high solid rock. There are over 12 miles of interconnecting trails at Antietam Lake Park. The 22-acre Angora Fruit Farm in the center of the park provides an outdoor classroom for year-round environmental education programs. Click here for more details.
